Or Stew and his girlfriend Sophie? Well if you haven't, then you're missing out!
I spent my Friday evening catching up with three lovely friends that I met at University, and promised that I would blog about it before the weekend was over. (The title comes from our 'Barney Stinson-inspired' attempt to find Beth the man of her dreams!)
The gorgeous Beth fulfilled the roles of housemate, sister, mother, therapist and best friend whilst we were at uni, and has now gone on to study for an M.Phil in Children's literature all the way over in Dublin. The fact that she is in another country means that we can't bake slutty brownies when we are feeling distressed, or eat chicken dippers, smiley faces and spaghetti hoops together for dinner, but it does mean that every time she's back on English soil I make it my mission to meet her for a catch up.

This Friday we ventured to Covent Garden, where we shared a bottle of vino in All Bar One, perched on the end of somebody else's table (which got us a few filthy looks but who cares?!) We spent a lot of time laughing before we even got to the others, and already I knew it was going to be another brilliant night out.

We then met the others in Fire and Stone, an amazing restaurant that finds it perfectly normal to put roast potatoes on a pizza! Being the lightweight that I am, and having consumed half a bottle of Rosè, I found the stairs down to our table a challenge, but when we eventually made it, I was the first to suggest that more alcohol was ordered immediately!
We sipped cocktails (and beer on Joe's part) and caught up on life since our last reunion at Christmas.

Beth and Sophie swapped Masters horror stories and Stew, Joe and I grumbled about grown up life in full time employment, amongst reminiscing over the times that we shared in Canterbury.
By the time we left, I for one was a little bit tipsy, but decided that TGI's was our next stop due to the amazing cocktails that we knew would be on offer. I decided to yell PARADISE PUNCH at the top of my voice all the way there and being the perfect boyfriend that he is, Joe treated me to a very large glass on arrival, which made for a very happy Robyn...

As Beth pointed out, the cocktails were almost as big as our heads!

In an attempt to get home before the trains stopped running (and more likely to stop me drinking anymore Paradise Punch) we said our goodbyes and headed our separate ways. It's sad to think that we won't all be meeting again in a matter of weeks, but before long I'm sure we will be arranging our next meeting.
